I'M back Baby

I felt I really needed to give this blog another chance. i deleted all preexisitng posts in order to give myself a clean place to post.



Not sure what i want to use this blog for but for today i thought i would give a short update on my weekend.

I really didn't do a whole lot, but i did sit around learning to play the guitar. I am pretty impressed with my mastery of three chords and my ability to play Bad moon Risin' by John Fogarty. My wife has got to be getting really sick of that moon, but as of yet she has not complained one bit about my practicing.



Last night i decided to give myself a late birthday present/early christmas present and bought a guitar. I had my little bro, who was in from the windy city, help me look about a bit and ended up gettting an Alvarez AD60S online. I like to think that i got a pretty good deal and will update the blog as to how it play when it arrives later this week. I looked at a good bit of guitars in this price range and really feel good about my selection of the AD60S. Solid spruce top with mahagony sides, and some pretty nice inlay work.
